ViiV Healthcare through Positive Action for Girls and Young Women (PAGW)
ViiV Healthcare through Positive Action for Girls and Young Women (PAGW) decided to explore the potential of a mentoring program to complement the work of grantees supporting girls and young women affected by HIV. PAGW selected Latkings Outreach Program to carry out a pilot mentoring project building on their work in mentoring through their DREAMS Innovation Fund program.
ViiV Healthcare through Positive Action for Girls and Young Women is changing and adding value to young women
Latkings, proposed to build on and extend the work it had done around health and HIV by including a personal development component within their programs using a mentoring model. The model focuses on skills and understanding of personal strengths, values, identity and aspiration as a key part health and wellbeing girls and young women to support them to better protect their health and wellbeing

To provide an opportunity to explore wider issues that affect girls in Lusaka Zambia
To help young girls be able to articulate their own priorities, and have the skills to make informed decisions & inspire and motivate young girls to actively shape their own lives
Girls who are strong, empowered, self-assured, resilient and positive. They are informed about their rights and able to make decisions to keep them healthy and safe.
